It has been two months since we launched the latest HFX ... As for the tutorials, they have become rarer these days too, although ready for publication (not less than 15 are awaiting publication on a variety of topics). It is not because of lack of effort (about 30 pending publication) or tutorials, but because of lack of time ... I take this opportunity to remind those who may not be aware that we are not connected with Pinnacle or proDAD or Hollywood FX, but are volunteers, and are working to give you the maximum information, links, tips and tricks or tutorials around Pinnacle Studio software, as well as proDAD or Hollywood FX (we receive from time to time emails from people thinking they are contacting Pinnacle or proDAD). All this inevitably takes time, despite the real commitment that we all have, putting our heart and soul into it. We must, from time to time, take vacations (*), have idle time, and other distractions, but we persevere in this endeavor that seems to satisfy a number of you.
The evidence is there, by the end of this month we will reach our one thousandth subscriber to the newsletter! I never hoped for so much in such a short time, and it is proof of your commitment to this website, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, this fills us with joy and fills us with the desire to continue the task. What a delight it is to read, from time to time, a message of encouragement, it is so difficult to determine whether the work performed has been appreciated or not. Now of course there are some unhappy people, who think that because it is free, everything is allowed; not the majority hopefully, quite the contrary and fortunately. Your support is our greatest reward, and this website is yours! So do not hesitate to promote it to those around you, together we will succeed in making this website a platform of knowledge around Pinnacle Studio software, proDAD and Hollywood FX.
Don't forget that we do not have total knowledge of everything that happens on the forums, on websites in the world of video. Also, if you have information that we may not have published, please let us know, and we will share information with as many of you (of course, we try to verify and cross-check the information before publishing it to avoid, as best as we can, rumors or innuendos that run rampant... Yes, I am referring to the release date of Pinnacle Studio 12 read in some forum... ). Finally, my last words will go to all people who help me on a daily basis: Kiwi & Le Papy (support for every kind of technical web stuff, HFX expert, making-translationg-checking tutorials, ...), Loosecannon (fine tuning and HFX expert), markk655 (translation and Studio/HFX adviser), felhmann (debugging Studio and finding tips & tricks, translation, Studio/HFX adviser), EKinnaer (our multi task and multi language representative), FJones52 (translation), grendet (tutorial proposition, technical help from a server point of view, dutch contact), Mamounette (email helpdesk), kiki84 (HFX expert and adviser), ggfx (Studio expert, tips & tricks around Studio). Without you, this website would not exist. And of course, thanks to all people currently reading this new (yes, you !), otherwise this website won't have any reason to exist. Recently, we have received many requests for additional HFX effects, and be assured that we will continue to provide you with new HFX as long Hollywood FX will be supported by Pinnacle. Papy being on holiday, the new series presented today are the work of Jacobyp and Candace, two DVsurfers that have sent us their creations. We remind you that we welcome all HFX with pleasure, feel free to share your creations by contacting us, we will explain the procedure to share them.
I will leave it up to all of you to discover the creations of these two authors. [New free HFX] (*) Currently, I am taking a break in the USA (Winter Park near Orlando, Florida, from which we have about 50 visitors to the DV website coming from this city). I had an idea for the many visitors (US friends, Quebec and Canada), for which I have done a small video while passing over Montreal ... Video at an altitude of 30,000 feet, thinking to canadian/quebec people : |
