News Contour Design

Contour Design is an American company that has been marketing for many years very convenient audio/video USB control devices called Shuttle. Since this summer Shuttleq can be used with our favorite video editing softwares Avid Studio and Pinnacle Studio 15.

Edit 20.12.2011 [Déclic Vidéo]: after an initial presentation by Saby in October 2011, it's my turn to discover the Xpress Shuttle and Shuttle PRO V2, and to present the product according to my own feelings. For this, I prepared a short video that I encourage you to watch, to get an idea of the product. After several weeks of use, I use it now commonly, for video editing. I admit that I was not able to get used to it for other applications, but for Pinnacle Studio and Avid is simply indispensable; beforhand, I used many keyboard shortcuts, and with the Shuttle I find everything right under my finger, making the edition not only more pleasant, but also faster! Currently, I have not found any really negative point of the product, if I really had to mention something, I'm tempted to say "the difficulty to insert the label on the buttons", but very little since it's an operation to do once only.

(my apologize for the pronunciation)

There are two models of different sizes. The ShuttlePRO V2 for $ 109.95 and its little brother the ShuttleXpress for $ 59.95. We had the chance to test them both and we invite you to discover them in our review : [Discover Contour Design Shuttles].

Exclusively for our readers, Contour Design offers a $ 20 discount for ShuttlePRO V2 and $ 10 for ShuttleXpress for orders placed before November 30, 2011.
For US and Canada orders only, use Voucher Code UVG111013183555 for each ShuttlePRO V2 and Voucher Code SJD111013183707 for each ShuttleXpress. Anyone outside the US or Canada should contact Contour Design by email for shipping quotes and other details. Use the address shuttle@contourdesign.com.

A great step by step explanation of both the ShuttlePRO and ShuttleXpress.
It starts with unpacking, downloading the latest version software, setting it up and using it.

This is a fantastic product for dyslexic's as we have problems learning to type. This has made life soo much easier. My only complaint is that I couldn't get the lower switches to work.I have not tried to manualy assign them.It would make a great Christmas present.I got it from B&H phot as they offered post office shipping which made a $20.00 or so difference in the costbut made sure declic video got the credit for the sale.I live in Alaska and shipping is insane to the "freak states",not part of the 48 continental states./

Thanks to your great introduction to these Devices I received my Shuttle Pro for Christmas and I could not be happier . Your step by step Tutorial and Download was easy to follow and the install went without any problems . The only comment I like to make is that on the pictures of the units there should have been the corresponding number posted as a reference to the button descriptions . ( Not Button 10 but Button 11 & 12 is Timeline - Zoom ) ? I can finally use short cuts without trying to remember them !

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Many thanks for your assistance in making me aware of the Button numbering sequence which is a little strange . To facilitate someone else who may have experienced the same problems I would suggest you post the numbers on your pictures as a reference guide to your button contents .

Many thanks again and hoping you will continue bringing us exciting topics in the New Year !

Happy New Year
Very besy to all the Declic Team !!

Hello Gert,

I think that Saby - who follow up the problem - will be able to post what you are requesting, because on my side I have to admit that I am lost...
