Introducing a menu ?

It may be interesting to introduce a film with a small presentation before leading to the chapters of the menu... But how to make a natural transition from the introduction to the menu? For example for a trip, by introducing, during the comments on the map of the route, small clips that will turn into thumbnail buttons in the menu. This is the method I use for my DVD / BD and I wanted to share with you.
