Pinnacle Studio 12 is arriving....

No, it's not a secrecy anymore, Pinnacle Studio 12 has been revealed on Pinnacle forums. Estimated ship date, 6/10/08 for those of you who will pre-order.

I just bought the Upgrade to Studio 11 Ultimate (dutch version) a month ago and now a hear that version 12 is coming. I feel a bit ripped-off. If I had know that, I would have waited.

At the moment I am using Pinnacle version 9.4 plus. In this version 6 different projects are under construction.

When I start using Version 12 can this version read the files in the 9.4 version.
2e Question. I am using Windows XP on my computer. Is this version 12 working under Windows XP.
3rd Question. When will version 12 will be available in Holland and where can I see a complete demonstration of the various possibilities of this program.
4th Question. When does Declic Video start a Dutch version of this Internetsite.

Hello John,
1/ As always, we strongly encourage people to FINISH their project before upgrading. You can just render the actual project (as an AVI file for example), and finish it with S12 (making the final menu and burning with S12).
2/ S12 is working under XP without any problem. It is also fully compatible with Vista, but this does not mean that S12 is not compatible with XP, hopefully.
3/ I do not have any idea, EKinnaer will get in touch with you for additionnal details.
4/ Sorry, I will probably never be able to publish a dutch version of the website, excepted if the demand is very high. But currently, I have lots of difficulty to maintain all articles in both french and english. I need more people to help me. If there is someone who is ready to translate all articles from english/french to dutch, no problem for me to setup such a website. But for sure, nobody is very interested in doing translation all day long. That's not so funny.

Etienne, Rob, please read again my reply. I do not understand why Pinnacle is involved. I replied to John whose question was: "When does Declic Video start a Dutch version of this Internetsite". So if I am submerged with hundreds of emails/comments in this website asking for a dutch version AND someone is ready to make translation, no problem. On my side, everything is ready, I just need a translator who will do full time translation... Anybody ready for this ?

Thanks for your answer to my 4 questions.

As question 3 I asked you to let me know where and when I can see a demo of Studio 12 in Holland. As an answer you wrote to me that Mr. Etienne Kinnaer would contact me about this subject. However I am sorry to tell you that up to now Mr. Etienne Kinnaer did not give any reaction to this question. I have no idea who this MR E. Kinnaer is but anyway he did not answer my question. Maybe you can ask him once again??

With regard to my question about the interest for a dutch version of your site and your reaction to this question I can inform you that most users of Pinnacle or Magix or Ulead Video editing programs can read english, but especially when complicated problems have to be solved, it is always much easier when data are available in your own "language".

Anyway I case you seriously are thinking of a Dutch page or part of the english pages completed with a translation in dutch you can contact me for some of the work in this field.

I am now waiting for the answer of Mr. Etienne Kinnaer.
