Before we begin, let's clear up any confusion about the term "Reverse" ... Hollywood FX is the original source for this inversion. In the help files for Hollywood 5.5 or 6.0 you will not find hardly any information on the topic or on the "Reverse Effect" or the "reversal" of transitions. The HFX reverse view path is not entirely reversing the way you had in mind ... Hence the gradual disinterest in this function that has no real value in HFX. The "Reverse Path" checkbox has transformed over time into a "reverse effect" button but without much success. Let's see how we can overcome this issue.

Studio 16 and upper versions come with 3 keyers: a luminance keyer, a color keyer and a transparency keyer. As their name suggests, the first (Luma key) uses the luminance and the second (Chroma key) uses colors to select the areas to change. The chroma keyer will be the subject of this tutorial. To summarize very briefly, a chroma keyer allows you, in post-production, to replace a color in a clip using an overlay.
