Studio's preferred music format is .WAV so it is strongly advised to convert your music CD's to WAV files (Rip CD) instead of using the Studio CD Import function. Transparency allows you to create special effects (PIP like). It can be achieved by using the color tool (Chroma Key), which is documented in Studio.  It can also be achieved by using an image stored in a format that retains some parts of the image as transparent.
