During the first tutorial "Boris Graffiti, The Beginning" you discovered ergonomics advanced mode.

The second tutorial "Boris Graffiti, Typewriter Effect" you learned to build an effect from A to Z. You will have acquired concepts relating to the use of tracks and keyframes.

This time, I suggest, to make a banner and the shimmering iridescent colors to be inserted at the bottom of a video. On this strip, two pieces, one on the left and one on the right side of the screen will join at the center of the screen. All of this text, consisting of two pieces, will then disappear to the right of the screen. Of course this does not exist in the Boris graffiti library, this is YOUR effect...

Step 1 : Setting up a gradient

Step 2 : Creating a personalized style

You will save this beautiful style that you just created, it will certainly be useful later. You click on "Style Palette". You add a personal category, then you add your new style in this personal category. By default Boris Graffiti, gives a name to this new style but with a right click on the default name (right column) you can easily rename it.

Step 3 : Creation of the movement of text

Select the "BORIS" track and hit "Update" in the "Text". The default word BORIS positions itself at the centre of the window display. You must make it disappear to the left of the screen (either with the mouse or by entering the details: Interpolation X linear (/) X = -105 Y = 520
You create a keyframe on the BORIS track at 1 / 3 time (CTRL + N or menu Track / New Keyframe). You change the parameters of the X position in the window controls: Interpolation X linear (/) X = 235 You immediately see the word "BORIS" take its position.
You will create a second text track (CTRL + SHIFT + T) and you enter the word "GRAFFITI". After update, you'll remove the word GRAFFITI on the right side of the screen: Interpolation X linear (/) X = 830 Y = 520 You will notice that the words BORIS and GRAFFITI are well on the same line (Y = 520)
You create a keyframe on the GRAFFITI track to 50% of the time around. You change the parameters of the X position in the window controls: Interpolation X linear (/) X = 430 You immediately see the word "GRAFFITI" take its position.
You'll see your video is on assembling on the Studio 12 track. You click on the menu Track / New Background. By default the runway is displayed with the media V1 (ie the video is on the time line of Studio 12)
We'll have to: You position on the track BORIS, Insert a track container (Track / New Container Title) Dragging the GRAFFITI runway with the mouse between the Container Title track and the BORIS runway so that the two tracks and GRAFFITI BORIS be included in the container. Create two keyframes on the track container, as shown on the screenshot (X beginning and X end of shift to right).
If you like your creation, you save as your choice and under the name that suits you. You can then use it on another occasion by "Open Setting." You will then find all your tracks, your keyframes, your style ... Note: I advise you to save your effect for later use ...

Step 4 : Tips keyframes :

Here are some simple principles to help you save time:

• When you create a keyframe on a track (Track / New Keyframe, or CTRL + N), will create keyframe on the selected track and at the moment T where the cursor is positioned in time,
• To select a track, you click on the track (it turns light blue),
• To move the cursor time, you drag the mouse from the upper part of the time line (Global TimeLine)
• To move the cursor time, you can also click on any existing keyframe, the cursor position when time is exactly the time T of the keyframe selected,
• When a keyframe is selected, it turns red and you can then drag on the timeline to change the T time
• When a keygrame is selected (red), one press on the "Delete" button deletes the keyframe,
• To create a keyframe identical to an existing keyframe, you select the keyframe to duplicate, right-click on this keyframe (Copy KeyFrame), you move the cursor time you click on the right track (Paste Keyframe)

Step 5 : final rendering

You click "Apply". Your effect will be applied in Studio and you can admire your work and continue your timeline work.

Step 6 : Bonus

You can still improve this effect by adding a small multicolored cube that runs during the animation. As odd as it may seem, you've done the hard part. If you've saved your creation, you go directly from the latter to add the cube. Depending on your thoughts, it might be a logical addition to this tutorial ...

Finally, resistance to the X and Y can best be overcome by your new freedom of movement ... this is my sincere wish.
