If you have gotten Studio 12 Ultimate, you must add the Boris Graffiti plug-in included in the video effects. Graffiti is more than just a titler. Obviously it can make static and animated titles of all types, both 2D and 3D, but it can also add filters, film that burns, writing styles like Star Wars, ripple effects, spirals, ... In short, many things.
It comes with a library of ready-made effects that you can set any way you desire. To grasp it all at first is a little tricky, especially if you, out of curiosity, inadvertently click on the "Advanced mode" button. Do not be afraid, we'll get there eventually.
To begin with, I attempt to make one very simple thing: a title. But in a somewhat sophisticated way.
So if you're ready, let's go!

Step 1 : Creating a title from an existing model

In Studio 12, you select a clip on the timeline and you apply the video effect "Boris Graffiti."
You click the button to edit Boris Graffiti.
The Boris Graffiti window opens and you select, in the left column, a series and a class effect from the library. Then in the right column you select one of the effects in this category.

Then you enter your text in the marked area. I entered " La neige est arrivée" (The snow has arrived) You then click the "Insert Text." button. If you click on "Apply" you save your edits and you will find them in Studio 12.
And then you see that blue light is not at all on the snow, look here and see for yourself.

Step 2 : Modifying an existing model

You must therefore move to the advanced mode to change the attributes of the text.
You will now see the "advanced" interface with its 4 windows and you will also see below, a portion of the display window for Studio 12. You do a double-click on the "Face" track. Observe closely the Text window with its 5 tabs, color picker and its color bar.
You click on the "Color" (3rd from the top). You select the entire text with the mouse. With the color picker, you select a dark blue from the color bar. The text immediately takes on the color you have successfully applied.
The selected text is either the default font or the last font used. With the tab "T" selected, you see that we are at " Arial Black." We will change this to "Batavia".
You can see the font change in this screenshot. Now you are going to change the font size by clicking on "48". We were 48, we'll move to 36.
So, if the effect is the way you like it, you click on "Apply". Your effect will be saved and you will find it in Studio 12.

Step 3 : To upgrade an existing effect

You select the entire text with the mouse. By clicking on the style in red box, your text will automatically have the attributes of the chosen style.

You will notice immediately that when the text is selected in the text window, its color does not reflect the change. In addition, in the text window, taking the text font, size and color but not 3D attributes. But against take notice that in the "Composite" (or preview) the text already has all the attributes. In the display window of Studio 12, we are still light blue because we have not yet clicked on "Apply".

So if you like your effect, that's enough for today.
You click on "Apply". Your effect will be saved and you will find it in Studio 12 for you to admire your work and continue your editing.

It is rather easy to grasp, isn't it?
