Déclic Vidéo FX posted on October 18, 2009 21:13  (Total Votes: 2) Among some others issues, please find hereafter some answers we managed to obtain directly from the various firms contacted: - Studio 14.0.0.7522 & proDAD Adorage 3.0.58 - Still images
- the problem: open Studio 14. Drop 2 still images (pictures) on the timeline. Insert an Adorage transition in between. Click to edit the transition. Adorage is opening, choose a transition. The small preview window in Adorage do not give a good result (sometimes there is nothing, sometimes you see awfull colored pixels). Go back to Studio, the Studio preview is OK.
- AVID/Pinnacle answer: we managed to reproduce the problem and we transfer it to our development team. With Studio 14, some plugins are made by third parties like BiasSoundSoap, Stage Tool Moving Picture, Magic, Boris, ... In such cases, the plugins are delivered with a very precise Studio version. In this case, proDAD Adorage, its installation and use is only assured for this specific version, Studio 12. No support will be available for using it with another Studio version. There might exist some tips and tricks to use it with Studio 14, but this is not supported by Pinnacle. If there is anything new, we will inform the customer through our official website.
- proDAD answer: we reproduced the problem with still images, we will get in touch with Pinnacle to try to solve it. We think that it is linked to Pinnacle Studio.
- proDAD products and Windows 7: Take note that if you deactivate the "AERO Composition Mode" and you check our products again, you should not have any problem. Windows 7 is not released at the moment. Customer report us that our products are running in Windows 7 (according to the previous note regarding the AERO composition mode). But we will check our products with the final Release Version of Windows 7. Then can we create a ServicePack for free, when necessary.Full description to solve the problem:
1. Open Windows Explorer with Windows-Key + 'E'
2. Right click Computer > Properties
3. Advanced System Settings
4. Under Performance click Settings
5. Tick (Enable) or Untick (Disable) Enable Desktop Composition
6. Apply - BluffTitler V7.6.5 & Studio 14.0.0.7522: some users experienced problems when importing BluffTitler avi into Studio 14 (or Studio 12). The problem: AVI do not show at all in Studio, AVI are black, crap, etc... The solution: export using a lower quality and it will solve the problem (quality being still acceptable !). Or change video card, because the problem is linked to graphic card memory !!... The full solution can be found here: export issues in BluffTitler V7. As a reminder, BluffTitler is a wonderful tool, which can be used to create 3D titles, but also some video wall, diaporama, and much more stuff!! At a recent Photo Show in Toronto which had Pinnacle representation I got the distinct impression that they are no longer interested in their past partners and have entered an era solely with Red Giant and an attitude of the others being a thing of past history . Friday, October 30, 2009 1:41 PM
When I burn a short movie using Studio 14 on a 4.7 Gb disc I have no problems replaying the disc on a DVD Player. In a longer movie using studio 14 that I burn on a double-layer disc it will not play on my DVD Player. I get a "dirty disc" message on a brand new disc. Wasted 6 discs experimenting. I have Nero burner software which I used to burn a Studio 14 movie from file on a double-layer disc and I don't have any problems playing the disc on my DVD player. I would like a more seamless process by using studio 14 throughout. Any suggestions?

I have studio ultimate collection. Probplem: When i import from my 2 cameras :1 Canon HF10 its more difficult to find the cam than in 12, 12 can self find it, 2: Canon XHA1S Broadcast pinnacle 14 can find it and start import, but when its done, an error is apear, file cant be openet, and the file disapear, fucking iritatin. I have tryed to reinstall with help from the dänish support and after a long time the message is now, Pinnacle are having some troubles with the 14, and that i have to constantly look after a new patch from pinnacle to solve the problem, when ?n they cant tell mee, that is not good enoughf, bad service. Just purchased pinnacle studio ultimate collection (V14 HD) and have been having a problem installing the product. Can't get by the registration step (window goes away and no response from the software at that point, have to reboot). Disabled firewall thinking it was that but to no avail, the product just won't get by the registration process. I'm trying to install the product on a clean windows 7 32 bit system. I have Pinnacle 14 loaded in my computer and it rejectes burning DVD-RW I get a reading Burning Failed. I use the similar DVD for 11.1 and there is no problem With Pinniclle 14 the DVD-R works but not the RW . I do have Windows XP Service pack 3 and Quad 4 . they work beautifully with 11.1 I reloaded Pinnacle 14 several times but the problem still exists. since upgrading to 14 from 12, it runs realllly sluggish. If i drag video or photos to desired length it takes 10secs or more before it does it and allows me to keep editing. I have a dell xps 2010. shouldnt be a problem. plenty of memory, etc. any suggestions! Thursday, January 14, 2010 4:01 PM

Still cannot burn 115 minute home movie onto Dual Layer disc with Pinnacle Studio 14, nor can I import from a dual layer disc. Can anyone help?

It says its fine but when I upload it to youtube or where ever it doesn't work...It looks like it renders each piece of video/audio or effects seperatly? I dunno..I'm a end user not a computer guy does anyone know?

Hello Andy, According to your website, you looks like a professionnal regarding computer ! Nevertheless, what you are searching for is easy and can be done as follow: - render your movie on the hard disk - copy the final movie to the USB stick (this will avoid any problem when writing directlly to the key, which might cause trouble).
