I was inspired by the Montage Themes and this will allow me to show you, once again, the things that you can accomplish by using these two complimentary programs.

Moreover, as one can not directly import HD clips into the Easy FX Editor, this trick might also enable me use HD video while using the HFX Effect and Easy FX Editor from Studio 12.

I am not about to tell you that my little tinkering can replace the Montage Themes. So quit dreaming but enjoy yourself anyway ..

Many users reported ‘double entries’ issues in the Pinnacle Studio "Make Movie" tab. In this case, each 2nd entry (the double) must not be used otherwise you might crash Studio. This Tips & Tricks allows you to get rid of these double entries.

A number of you want to preserve old super 8 movies and/or old VHS tapes.
The first step is to get them on DVD either by you or someone else. After that is done you may want to go further by cutting some scenes, edit some lighting and even make a video montage.  And why not add a menu. The Studio software is perfectly suited for this type of operation, as these DVD's are not protected.

What to do when everything goes wrong and we no longer know what to do ... In a scenario like this, in many cases, we may have to rely on the knowledge and good will of the mebers of a video forum. Preferred Studio's music format is .WAV so it is strongly advised to convert your music CD's to WAV files (CD Rip) instead using directly the Studio CD Import function. This can be achieved with the famous CDEx. Transparency allows you to create special effects (PIP like).
It can be achieved by using the color tool (Chroma Key), which is documented in Studio.  It can also be achieved by using an image stored in a format that retains some parts of the image as transparent. It is this process that I refer to in the following example.
