On August 13th we had alarming information from U.S. Pinnacle forum which announced the end of Smartsound in Studio: End of SmartSound with Studio ?. The result of the poll was very clear (in favor of SmartSound - consult the result: Studio 12 : Version 12.1.3.6605a is arrived).

Today, we are very pleased to announce that, seeking the best interest of end users, Pinnacle have reached an agreement with SmartSound that enables users of Pinnacle Studio 10 software and earlier versions to keep on using their SmartSound content in Pinnacle Studio 12.x. For the future, Pinnacle is considering a new architecture that will enable a better compatibility with third party plugins. You can find the official information on U.S. Pinnacle forum.
